So I dug out my crusted up old paintbrushes and got busy. I'm still not completely happy with the pink colour ( I had envisioned it a little lighter, but I got a bit out of control with the magenta! Oh well....it's fulfilling my craving for some spring colour in my house. I have a beautiful flowering Camellia bush outside my window...I always wish the blooms would last a little longer! Now they do :)
My little monkeys the other day.....best buds already!
Just for fun....my living room BEFORE picture:

ReplyDelete...petals in any shade of pink work for me(a little tip?...put a drop of bleach and a lump of sugar with any cut posy, to both eliminate bacteria and feed them...they'll last soo much longer)...what a delightful site...thanks for the stroll...Rosie
P.S. May we all go through the PINK PHASE!
I was delighted to see this. I recently did the seasonal shuffle and decided I need something new above the fireplace and was also thinking of doing one large single flower in the O'Keefe fashion but much more humble. Yours turned out to be stunning. Nicely done.

You should not sent without soil and with their roots covered in a wet medium. This is the most acceptable method for sending plants by mail since it guarantees that you will get lovely, healthy plants with a damp, undamaged root system. Mail order nursery
